Rarities are good. Especially in Revelstoke. Subaru FWT competitors experienced the glory of a bluebird day as they faced qualifying rounds on "Separate Reality." A lucky 76 of them are going on to compete tomorrow in RMR's North Bowl. Need a good tale about a unknown skier killing it? How about 19-year-old Angel Collinson from Snowbird, Utah? She competed for the first time today in the Subaru FWT, pulled off an impressive run that propelled her into the finals tomorrow. Nice. The backdrop here doesn't suck either. As announcer Frankie Alisuag put it: "It's ridiculous. I'm totally blown away by the vertical here: 5640 feet. To see it in real life is mind blowing."
