Days are getting longer and weather is getting warmer, but the 2013/2014 ski season isn’t over just yet. While some people are thinking about bikinis on the beach, snow enthusiasts are bronzing on the slopes. Spring and summer shredding is a magical time filled with taking fresh turns in the mornings and mountain biking in the evenings. Because we love the snow just as much as you we have put together a comprehensive list of the ski resorts still open in North America.


Lake Louise Enjoy the breathtaking sites in the heart of Banff National Park until May 11.
Sunshine Village Spring is the best time to experience Canada’s Best Snow. Check out the inaugural Salomon Rail Jam series or enjoy the resort’s popular outdoor concert’s leading up to the world famous 86th Annual Slush Cup on May 19th. You can enjoy Sunshine Village until the end of May!

British Columbia
Whistler/Blackcomb Blackcomb Mountain stays open for spring skiing and snowboarding until mid-May. Summer glacier skiing and riding on Blackcomb Mountain starts the third week of June.

Mont Saint-Sauveur With only two more days open this season, your last possible days to play in the snow here will be May 10-11

Alpine Meadows Come get in some last laps with your mom this weekend at Alpine Meadows. Closing day is Mothers Day – May 11!
Mammoth Mountain Spring skiing/riding for $60 a day and open until May 31!

Arapahoe Basin With still a few snow predications in the upcoming weeks you can be sure to catch some great runs until June 1 (conditions permitting).

Mt. Bachelor Mt. Bachelor takes spring skiing/riding to a whole new level with their Springtacular concert series and snow golf tournament. Enjoy the snow, golf, music, and local beer until May 25 (conditions permitting).
Mt. Hood Meadows Snow seekers can enjoy live music, a superpark exhibition, and fresh groomers at Mt. Hood Meadows on the weekends until May 17.
Timberline Lodge Currently the only resort that is open 12 months a year in the United States. Here you can ride on top of a volcano and have a bonfire on the Oregon coast all in one day!

Snowbird Known to notoriously stay open until the 4th of July, Snowbird is claiming to shut its doors on May 26 this year.

Crystal Mountain Open Saturdays and Sundays Crystal Mountain is a no brainer for only $30 a day! Enjoy the snow until May 18 (potentially longer)!

Jay Peak Resort Receiving an abundance of snow this winter Jay Peak will be open during the weekends until May 11.
Killington Seeking to give snow enthusiasts as many chances to ride as possible, so they will be open until the snow is no more, or May 24.
